THE STARTING POINT
Apostle Dr. Ambassador Alex K. Nkrumah
has been in ministry since 1982. His Godly training began from his childhood days in the Methodist Church. Born on January 31, 1959 at Breman Asantem, a town in Asikuma, Odoben, Brakwa District in the Central Region, he completed his basic school with distinction and was trained as an auto mechanic at Nick Engineering Works from 1977-1979. The excellent skills he exhibited during his training made him complete his apprenticeship earlier than expected by his master. He was simply unmatched by his colleagues at the workshop.
HIS COMMITTMENT TO DUTY
After the completion of his training, Apostle Nkrumah worked with Nick Engineering Works with enthusiasm until he was converted to Christ at Ebenezer Assembly of God, Kotobabi Accra, where he was baptized in the Holy Spirit and surrendered his life to the control of the Spirit. He also worked with Darko Farms Co. Ltd and the Assemblies of God Literature Centre Ltd as driver mechanic. His attitude to work endeared him to all his superiors because he brought positive changes in all his working environment.
HIS CALL AND SPIRITUAL TRAINING
Apostle Alex started his Ministry life with all seriousness and he had great zeal for the things of God, especially house to house evangelism. His passion for the things of God made the call of God upon his life evident to all in the local church where he worshipped. So when the Lord called him into full time ministry in 1982, it was no surprise to all who knew him. He did not confer with flesh and blood but left everything and surrendered his life completely to God who had appeared to him. Even though it cost him everything he had worked for and eventually had to sleep in the church hall, nothing moved him away from his avowed purpose to follow the Lord. He served as an interpreter and prayer leader at Ebenezer Assembly of God and that won him the admiration of many.
In May 1982, when the late Rev. Minta-Asare led Ebenezer Assembly of God to open a new church at Pig Farm, brother Alex was asked to lead the church for the Pastor who had enrolled in the Bible School. The church was later given the name Deliverance Assemblies of God. As the leader of Deliverance A/G, he together with other brethren worked tirelessly to raise the new church to a high biblical standard both in spiritual, social, numerical and financial matters. This was evident in the fact that at their first appearance in the bible quiz contest in 1985, he led a team from Deliverance Assembly of God, which was only three years old to win the national Bible quiz trophy. This was a remarkable achievement that had never happened in the history of the Assemblies of God, Ghana.
Apostle Dr. Nkrumah received much of his practical spiritual training from God during the time he was leading Deliverance Assembly of God, Pig Farm. He was and still is simply unstoppable in the life of faith, evangelism, dedication and missions to save the lost. Many came to Christ through him at that time and a lot more are being saved through his ministry now. His missions output helped in the opening of the Assemblies of God Church at Kanda in Accra. His unflinching faith in the Word of God for the impossible to be possible makes him an Apostle of faith because he breaks new grounds with the Gospel and plants churches to the glory of God. As a lay preacher at the local church level he served as:

FAMILY LIFE
Apostle Dr. Ambassador Alex K. Nkrumah is a unique family man. In 1985, He got married to Miss Elizabeth Ewiah, one of God’s precious jewels and virtuous women of our time. She is a woman of few words but a mighty prayer warrior and an intercessor before God. Apart from the Holy Spirit, Apostle’s Alex’s successful advancement in ministry can be traced to this unique woman of God, Lady Rev. Elizabeth Nkrumah. Through them the Lord has given three (3) wonderful sons to this world.
Apostle’s transparent life at home through the practical application of the Word of God to every situation has created a unique spiritual atmosphere in the family for God to use to glorify His name. He leads and trains his family in the ways of the Lord. It is a great blessing to see that both his wife Elizabeth, and the children the Lord has given him, Joshua, Caleb and Elijah are in the ministry of the Lord. This is a miracle and a great blessing from the Lord that cannot be quantified. He is currently blessed with four (4) grandchildren with the expectation for more. To God be the glory.
HIS FULL TIME ACADEMIC TRAINING
Even though he had a low academic background (he has no secondary education), when he enrolled at the Southern Ghana Bible Institute, SGBI (now Assemblies of God Theological Seminary), Apostle Alex distinguished himself spiritually, academically and socially, serving as class captain for the second and final year respectively. Whilst in the Bible School, Apostle Nkrumah pioneered the Upper Room Assembly of God, Mamobi, Accra. He also played a prominent role in the planting of Abonko and Mpesedadze churches in the Central Region. He graduated from S.G.B.I with Diploma in Theology in November 1989. After graduation, he pioneered the Church he is currently the Chief Servant amidst severe opposition, many trials, rejection and ultimately expulsion from A/G Ghana. But he chose to remain in the organization amidst the hostility at the time with the faith that God will use him to fulfill the scripture that says “The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone, the Lord has done this and it is marvelous in our eyes” (Psalm. 118:22-23). Today we are seeing the reality of his faith before our eyes as far as The Lord’s Temple is concerned. God is faithful! YHWH is God!! To God be the glory!!!
He started Revival Restoration Centre (RRC) on January 1990 with nine brethren and two children. From its inception Dr. Alex has always declared that RRC is The Centre of Excellence in terms of spiritual, social and physical matters. Blessedly, God is honoring His good Word through the mouth of His servant by making The Lord’s Temple “The Centre of Excellence” indeed.
In 1998, Dr. Nkrumah was invited to Singapore for Local Church Breakthrough Seminar (LCBS) at Trinity Theological Seminary and excelled marvelously. In 2002, he obtained bachelor of Theology (B.Th) at the Southern Ghana Bible College. While pursuing his degree course, He was appointed the Chapel Prefect at the College. Again he used the opportunity to bring a lot of changes in the spiritual and social lives of the students.
Also in 2008, the prestigious Haggai Institute (HI) for Advanced Leadership Training invited him for Advanced Leadership Training in Maui Hawaii, USA. There too he stood out among his classmates. Due to his zeal for missions and ministry advancement, Conservative Theological University in Jacksonville, Florida USA awarded him scholarship to study Masters in Practical Ministry (MA.Pracmin) in 2012. There too the excellent nature of his life and ministry was pronounced. On July 21, 2013, The Pan African Clergy Council & Bible Seminary awarded him with Honorary Doctor of Divinity (D.Div) for the outstanding impact of his missions work in bringing the Gospel to the doorsteps of many and his humanitarian projects to the most deprived in society. Again the same year, 2013 Universal Peace Federation UPF of the United Nations, New York USA honored him with Ambassador for Peace Award for promoting peace in both urban and the most deprived communities in the rural areas through the Gospel of Christ. And in 2015, Ghana Evangelical Missions Association Awarded him with Outstanding Apostello Award for being a remarkable Apostle of faith in our generation by breaking the grounds to teach the up and coming ministers that what others say is impossible is possible in all areas of ministry through selfless lifestyle and the avowed aim to do something glorious for God as Solomon did in his days.
The spiritual and social sensitivity of this man of God coupled with unprecedented faith and leadership qualities has endeared him to scores of people from all walks of life, with many preferring to call him Daddy or Bishop because of his fatherly attitude. The Apostolic unction upon this Man of God makes him break new grounds in several areas of ministry. With the special kind of faith, he speaks of things that are not as though they are and they leap into being by the power of God. Truly he is a multi dimensional minister of God. His words are sustained by God and fulfills at a record time.
HE IS A KINDHEARTED SERVANT OF GOD
Apostle Nkrumah is Christ’s Ambassador of Peace. His timely mediation in chieftaincy litigations has brought peace in several traditional areas. He is a minister with the heart to help others to know Christ and to assist them to excel in life. His concern for the needy and readiness to help them has made him sponsor and still sponsoring a number of children to schools up to the University level. His Missions Outreach called CAPP has built a KVIP for the JHS pupils in his home town. He has also donated a computer to the school and has personally extended electricity to the school. This is a gesture the District Education Office said has never happened in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District before.
CAPP Outreach Missions of which he is the Founder and President is constructing clean water system for Breman Asantem community which is to be commissioned this year. CAPP has also given food, farm supplies, clothing and skillful training to a number of communities in the area to improve their living standard. This has become the talk of the community with many giving their lives to Jesus because of what Christ is doing through him. Apostle Nkrumah’s greatest desire is to live for others to become better in life and to see the ordinary become extraordinary in their generation through the gospel of Christ.
HE LIVES THE BIBLICAL LIFE PRACTICALLY
As stated earlier, the life and ministry of Apostle Dr. Nkrumah has become a model unto many believers, ministers and business people because of his steady active faith in God’s Word. His faith level is always at its peak for something good to happen from God to people and miracle happens. Right from his conversion to Christ he has been in several areas of leadership and has left a great mark in the body of Christ at every place he has been. When he was the Foreign missions Director, he personally gave five hundred US dollars ($500) to the Gambia church for missions project. He led the New Town/Dzorwulu District to a very high standard in spiritual, social and financial matters until he step down in 2017.
He purposefully resigned from official positions to concentrate on building the local Assembly, RRC to a spectacular altitude in spiritual, physical and social environment where God-kind of miracles become bread for believers constantly. Apostle Alex has mentored and still mentoring a lot of Pastors, leaders and business executives. He also challenges scores of believers, ministers and business people to be pace setters in their ministries and business endeavors by ceasing to operate with the status quo. He always use himself as example as one of the “Foolish things of the world God has chosen to confound the wise” (1Cor.1:27). Until the believer lives with the new paradigm of the Spirit by initiation divine action through the Word, Apostle Alex says “You will trail behind because most of the mind-blowing miracles we read in the Bible were initiated by individuals who believed in God for the unprecedented to happen”. These have been written down for our learning (Rom.15:4).
HE IS A FAITH ADVANCING MINISTER
Apostle Dr. Ambassador Alex K. Nkrumah is a man of faith. He talks biblical faith and lives the faith life practically. His faith life is high and active to such a level that if you are not discerning you will not understand him. As far as he is concerned “All things are possible to the believer” because “With God all things are possible” as Jesus has declared. He sees possibilities in everything. According to him since the believer is hidden in Christ in God, all things must be and are possible as the Bible declares. The Apostolic faith upon his life makes him a Groundbreaker, a Pathfinder and Pacesetter of a high magnitude. His very life produces tangible miracles of various nature for those who acknowledge the hand of God upon his life.
Apostle Alex loves to do God’s will with all his heart, soul and strength. He declares constantly that since the invisible (God) has become visible (Christ Jesus), the believer in Christ is invincible as he goes to fulfill the Lord’s command in missions. That is why he is fearless in his quest to reach all classes of people in all nations with the Gospel of Christ. Through him a number of communities, towns and villages have been transformed by the gospel through the grace of God.
